Great King Street Artist’s Blend – Rich, round, fruity. Artist’s Blend is a tribute to a time when blenders used an artistry, creativity and craft to make this combination of flavourful single malt whiskies and delicate single grain whiskies one of the world’s most famous drinks. Great King Street Glasgow Blend – Our Great King Street range is dedicated to applying a contemporary approach to the creation of Blended Scotch Whiskies in the full-flavored style of the late 19th century blending houses. You’ll find here a rich vein of peaty-smokiness, underpinned by sherry cask-aged whiskies, full of dried fruit and wine character. The palate is full and round, with a sweetness typical of whiskies from our company.
Dewar’s Blended Scotch Whisky was established in 1846 in a small shop in Perth, Scotland by John Dewar, one of the first Scotsmen to blend whisky. Dewar’s 12-year-old Scotch is double-aged for extra smoothness, making it warm, buttery, and mellow, with flavor notes of honey, homemade toffee, apples, and fudge. (Yes, fudge.) It’s rich, with the taste of melted caramel and just a trace of oak. Dewar’s is also known for their 15-year-old and 18-year-old blended Scotch whiskies, as well as their Dewar’s White Label, which is fruity and well-rounded, with a subtle sweetness and a “curl of smoke.”
Johnnie Walker is world-renowned for its iconic range of classic scotch whisky blends, including Red Label, Black Label, Green Label, and Blue Label. Johnnie Walker Red Label is their “pioneer blend,” the one that introduced their whisky to the world, and today it’s the best-selling Scotch Whisky around the globe. It’s a blend that combines light whiskies from Scotland’s east coast with more “peaty” whiskies from the west, creating an extraordinary depth of flavor. Red Label has hints of cinnamon, spicy pepper, and sweet vanilla, with a subtle smoky finish and is great for mixing. Try it with ginger ale and a squeeze of lemon or lime, for an easy, refreshing and spicy cocktail.

Formerly an office assistant in Glasgow, Scotland, James Buchanan found his calling in 1884 and created his own whiskey-blend. Within a year, he was selected as the exclusive whisky supplier to Britain’s House of Commons. Shortly thereafter, he became the whiskey supplier to the British royals, as well, followed by the official supplier of the Emperor of Japan and the Royal Court of Spain. (Clearly the man had connections.)
Buchanan’s De Luxe 12-Year-Old continues to be one of the world’s most iconic and awarded luxury Scotch whisky brands, known for its soft and fruity flavor with orange and chocolate notes. We recommend serving it on the rocks or with soda, garnished with an orange peel. Buchanan’s Master, a blend of malts with at least one from every region of Scotland, won a double gold medal in the 2014 World Spirits Competition. Just because you may not be a royal doesn’t mean you won’t be royally rewarded for trying a glass.
