Barrel Select
The blend that started it all, our Barrel Select Whisky was our first blend that showed the world what Canadian Whisky could be. Originally released in 2000, its unique blend of individually aged grain whiskies from rye, barley and corn, revealed what was possible when driven by innovation and a wild spirit. The process of aging each whisky in seasoned ex-Bourbon barrels and new American White Oak gives a unique and full flavor profile.
Appearance – Warm gold color
Aromas – Features aromas of honey, vanilla, orange peel and apricot fused with toasted oak, black walnut, and spice
Flavor – Robust, complex, and bold flavors of vanilla, honey, a hint of rye spice, and cocoa with a toasted earthiness
Finish – Completed with a smooth, lingering and memorable finish
Proof – 40% ABV
Serve - Neat or over ice, although it's versatile enough for cocktails or mixed drinks
Double Barrel
An extra-aged whisky that is a true celebration of the intricate and subtle flavors imparted by barrel aging. Our Double Barrel Reserve is named after the unique process of double aging: first, the individual rye, barley and corn whiskies are extra-aged in a variety of barrels before being masterfully blended. After blending, the liquid goes through up to 2 years of secondary aging in Bourbon barrels handpicked from Kentucky. The resulting whisky blends the spiciness of Canadian grain whisky with the sweetness and mellowed characteristics of bourbon.
Appearance – Deep amber gold in color
Aromas – Vanilla notes, highlighted with toasted spice, pecan and walnuts
Flavor – Big and full-flavored, with luscious caramel, vanilla and rich spice
Finish – A smooth, elegant and balanced whisky with an extra-long, mellow finish and a touch of pepper
Proof – 40% ABV
Serve – A fine sipping whisky
