Type: Canadian Whisky
Gooderham & Worts was built on two things: guts and grains.
Through sheer will, determination and ingenuity, these millers turned distillers brought their strengths together to forge something truly special.
Today, the smooth drinking four-grain whisky they inspired is a nod to their grit, resolve and legacy while reflecting the best parts of the city and country they helped build.
Four Grain Whisky
Gooderham & Worts was founded in 1832 by William Gooderham and James Worts in the town of York, present day Toronto.
Gooderham & Worts – Four Grain is a truly complex Canadian whisky, with a majority amount of sweet, soft double-column distilled corn and an almost equal amount of once-column and pot distilled rye.
It also has some once-column and pot distilled wheat and barley, creating a beautifully bold, complex and balanced blend.
It starts off with warming notes of fresh baked bread and a touch of roasted nuts.
The first taste delivers notes of sweet caramel and toffee, followed by warming rye spice and mature oak, with a subtle hint of green apple in the background.
