Our Rye aged for six years taught us that it doesn’t take long to arrive at perfection.

With a mash bill of 100% Rye to capture a 100% bold, spice flavor profile. PiggyBack’s unique strength of precisely 96.56 proof is the optimal match in the strength-sweet-bitter cocktail triangle, making it a bartender’s dream.

PiggyBack 100 Proof Bourbon

PiggyBack 100 Proof Bourbon gives our bold approach to whiskey a sweeter spin.

Born from our signature grain’s other half, it starts with a high Corn mash bill (keeping a dash of Rye of course). Six long years of age in Char #3 barrels adds layers of flavor before bottling at 100 Proof, so you can keep it 100 whether you choose Bourbon or Rye.

Sip it neat or shake it in a classic. With its sweeter profile, PiggyBack 100 Proof Bourbon shines in citrus and sour drinks – like our Barrel Aged Maple Bourbon Sour.

FarmStock Rye

FarmStock Rye is a tribute to our grain-to-glass process, crafted with our own grain harvested by Farmer Lee, distilled with water from our well, and aged in local, sustainably sourced Vermont Oak barrels.

It’s bottled in barn - all right here on the WhistlePig Farm.

For our core FarmStock expression, we blend our own whiskey with older Ryes for a well-balanced, easy drinking profile… a great starting point for drinkers who are new to Rye.

Once a year, we are incredibly proud to share from our farm to your glass a limited number of FarmStock barrels that are 100% WhistlePig Whiskey, bottled in bond and so much more.

We call these FarmSock beyond bonded; they’re a true labor of love.

WhistlePig began when a ragged band of Rye enthusiasts dared to set forth beyond the bounds of past or possibility.

In pursuit of independence, innovation – and ingredients – we landed upon an abandoned dairy barn in the heart of Vermont farm country.

FarmStock Beyond Bonded is our boldest dream yet: a tribute to the hearty, heirloom crop at its core. Farmed in our own backyard, distilled and proofed with our own well water, and aged in our own sustainably-harvested Vermont oak, each individual barrel is an untapped expression of the WhistlePig Farm.

Beyond Bonded FarmStock Rye is a Straight Rye Whiskey crafted from grain-to-glass at the WhistlePig Farm and Distillery.

Made with 100% Remington Rye. Each single barrel is aged at least 4 years, 1 month and 30 days, and up to 5 years, 2 months and 16 days in Vermont Estate Oak barrelsEach single barrel is aged at least 4 years, 1 month and 30 days, and up to 5 years, 2 months and 16 days in Vermont Estate Oak barrels. We kicked off our Rye Whiskey journey with the Quintessential Rye – our Small Batch Rye, Aged 10 Years - it’s the one that started it all.

True to our original Master Distillers’ vision, it’s a high Rye whiskey with a bold, spice forward whiskey that offers new layers of flavor with every year of age.

And at 100 Proof, it’s versatile no matter how you drink it. Ingenuity, determination, and a fearless pursuit of flavor led us here, and we never turned back.

Old World Rye Aged 12 Years

WhistlePig’s vanguard of finishing lies within our Old World Rye, Aged 12 Years.

A Rye styled by Old World sensibilities at 86-proof. This whiskey is the marriage of three finishes, each with their own distinctive flavor profiles.

After maturing for 12 years in New American Oak, the spirit is divvied into one of three barrels –Madeira (63%), Sauternes (30%) and Port (7%).

Finished to perfection and blended into a symphony of flavor. It started as a grand experiment and ended as the first Rye whiskey of its kind, giving you Rye in all its glory.. and then some.

Just like a fine wine, our Old World Rye’s rich fruit and spice notes are great with an epic meal.

Estate Oak Rye Aged 15 Years

One of WhistlePig’s oldest whiskeys, Estate Oak Rye is for the true connoisseur of Rye. It takes its name from our Vermont Estate Oak, where it finishes its long, 15 year life.

Sustainably harvested right off our 500-acre farm, the wood has more rings than the standard American oak used in whiskey barrels, imparting more flavor during maturation. Custom toast and char profiles takes the flavor even further, just like a perfectly toasted marshmallow.

Hitting the bottle at 92-proof, the liquid is assertive and wise beyond its 15 year age statement, and boasts a score of 97 points from Wine Enthusiast.

A pure expression of Vermont’s finest, our favorite way to enjoy WhistlePig 15 is fireside on a crisp evening with a perfectly toasted marshmallow.

Double Malt Rye Aged 18 Years

With our oldest expression to date, we’re tapping into the time-honored techniques of the farmer distillers who invented the category in America’s early days.

WhistlePig Double Malt Rye is our oldest Rye, patiently mellowed for 18 years. Before industrial distillation, America’s original farmers would malt a small portion of their grain to start fermentation, the essential step that turns water and rye into glorious whiskey.

As a nod to the farmers, Double Malt Rye is crafted from a mash bill of Rye, Malted Rye and Malted Barley. History aside, these grains unite in a show-stopping Rye Whiskey that stretches far and wide across the flavor spectrum.

Its base of 79% Rye delivers bold, peppery spice, while 15% Malted Rye adds soft, floral and earthy character. A final 6% of malted barley brings rich, sweet, toasted notes.

To take the expansive palate of WhistlePig Double Malt even further the 4th Edition is finished in Spanish PX Sherry Casks.
